GOOD PROGRAMME FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO BREAK INTO FINANCE WITHOUT A FINANCE BACHELORS. BUT YOU NEED TO WORK ON THE HARD SKILLS YOURSELF AS YOU WILL BE TAUGHT CONCEPTUALLY, BUT NOT TESTED ON YOUR HARD SKILLS.

Quel est, selon vous, le principal atout de ce programme ?
It’s the only Sustainable Finance course that accepted students with no bachelors in finance, which might be something very important for me to break into this sector as I come from a related sector but without a bachelors in finance.

Quelle est, selon vous, la principale faiblesse de ce programme ?
Not enough focus on the quantitative skills that a lot of employers look out for, such as, familiarity with finance related data sets, evidence of knowing how to do economic modelling. Also, we didn’t get to be meet and greet with any employers per se— we met them online but further integration would help.

It’s a finance course that has no access to Bloomberg terminals or anything at all to replace that. No academic team dedicated to ensuring these types of resources are available for students to access.

Êtes-vous globalement satisfait de votre formation ?
We had very good industry practitioners come teach us, unfortunately they were very brief. In terms of academic staff, I’d have definitely preferred if they taught us finance and offered some homework to practice the concepts on excel, rather than to just do presentations non stop.
