AS MENTIONED ABOVE, THE PROGRAM HAS GREAT SCOPE, ONLY IF THEY ARE MORE FLEXIBLE AND THAT THEY FOCUS MORE ON TEACHING WHAT IS ESSENTIAL TO LUXURY.

    The main advantage of the program is its recognition and the school’s reputation also plays an equally important role in the programs popularity.

    The course was not designed keeping in mind the professional aspect. We expected courses that engaged us, gave us a better insight into the industry. Instead, we felt like we were just repeating the same topics over and over again throughout the course. There was no diversity, no newness to the teachings.

    Overall, I am not as satisfied with the program as I expected a great deal out of it. We were taught subjects like R-Studio when the relevance of tools like this is not as much in the luxury industry. When we asked for excel courses, we were told it was not possible because the subjects were designed by the education board and that it wouldn’t be possible for them to add something like this. It was difficult to navigate through this. Also to add to this, the amount of workload we recieved was tremendously vast, having presentations almost every single day and not much time and resources to prepare for it.

    When we questioned them about certain subjects and it’s relevance to our career and the possible scope of it for our future opportunities, we were told that it wasn’t in her hand to arrange the subjects. The course subjects were a concern for most of us as we were hoping for it to be more luxury and marketing centric, but I’d didn’t feel so.
