    The main asset of the program is the network of international students and the blend of finance and IT skills that are developed.


  • Quelle est, selon vous, la principale faiblesse de ce programme ?

    The main weakness is the school's recognition. The quality of the curriculum is very good, a lot of school resources to facilitate research and tutorial work, professors are good and worldwide renowned but the program should work more on the marketing and networking side. Lecturers are the same that in TSE, we use common resources but many TSM students have to rely upon TSE's reputation to draw a recruiter's attention.

    Contenu académique du programme

    I believe that the program should include more courses on credit risk assessment and credit scoring methodologies. Also, the asset management and trading course should teach us more about technical and fundamental analysis in a more guided hands-on approach. It remained way too theoretical and there was some sort of disconnection between what we saw during lectures and how to use it during the trading simulation.

    However, I believe that we could have a special training on the Reuters database or that they could switch to Bloomberg since the school seems to have a relationship with the company.

    The financial econometrics course should use a more hands-on guided approach. There was a difference in the quality of the lectures delivered in tutorial sessions among different options because we had distinct professors for this course.
