  • Quel est, selon vous, le principal atout de ce programme ?

    The topic is very high in terms of demand and also being useful for our planet. Although there are many repititive courses, the topics are diverse. (for example, we have 2-3 courses on wind energy with overlapping contents --> repetitiveness, but we have courses on wind, solar, hydro, batteries --> diversness)

  • Quelle est, selon vous, la principale faiblesse de ce programme ?

    Bad managemenet, not enough care and value from university side, faculty being lazy in terms of updating their content and knowledge

    In terms of my field of study, I would definitely retake this if I go back in time, and if I am studying in france, I believe Ecole polytechnique is better than all the other universities. However, if we look outside of France, then there can be better management teams for the same topic.

    Some courses are repetitive and not updated. Many professors do not have sufficient presentation skills, they cannot manage the time and content.

    Professors need to start updating their slides. Showing figures from 2013-2014 in a topic as sensitive as renewable energies is truly not acceptable. Numbers and content change every year. The focus is also shifting so the professors cannot rely on some research they did on the topics 10 years ago.

    I understand that Ecole polytechnique wants us to do 6 month internships but doing 2 semester in 6 months is exteremly tiring. Also, the 2nd semester each year is so badly organized.

    Yes & No. Many of the networks are there for cylce ingénieurs and not master students which is a bit sad. However, I do appreciate the X forum.

    As mentioned before, many repetitive courses and a compact schedule.
