Quel est, selon vous, le principal atout de ce programme ?
As an international student, I got visa and moved to France. Also the diploma should be considered prestigious in France among employers but I havent experienced that yet. Based on what I've seen, very small number of people drops out, and it is possible to go through two years with a little effort, enjoying various afterschool activities: someone may consider this a plus.

Quelle est, selon vous, la principale faiblesse de ce programme ?
This program doesn't serve the education purpose. It doesn't have a feedback loop during the classes, it doesn't develop hard skills, it doesn't have a clear vision on what it should teach you.

I participated in several events/competitions as a representative of l'X, paid the expenses that should be reimbursable by the school and for some of them it's already been a year without me being compensated despite filling forms and submitting emails. I regret having educational services at institution that can't respect agreements with people that build it public image.

Contenu académique du programme
The curriculum looks good on paper but in practice lacks vision and keeps getting further from it. The stated idea is that program covers visual domain (CGI, CV, 3D etc) and modern AI methods that are heavily used in the academia/industry. In practice the paradigm is shifting towards the AI in general: which is not bad for some people, but doesn't match the program I was applying to. First year is better as it has some computer graphics courses - and for the second year courses were AI that is not relevant to the visual domain, some gapfilling courses and courses which had a huge overlap with the similar course from M1.

Qualité des professeurs permanents
Most of the professors spoke English really well. I know this is usually problem for international students in France, in l'X it was fine. I had 2-3 great professors, others ranged all the way from decent to bad. I was disappointed in some TA's during the first year: I got a lot of advices that were just factually wrong and showed TA's not knowing the context of the TD's people are working on.

Contrôle des connaissances, volume et répartition des cours, travail personnel
Horrible. Mandatory attendance and half of the hours are lab classes that are dedicated to basically doing your homework. A lot of classes cancelled due to some events that are not even related to the program. The workload is unevenly distributed - half of the courses has a final project to work on, but to start work on it you often need materials from last lectures, so basically you are left with all the projects on last 2 weeks of the period Amount of labs & TDs is alright.

Qualité du directeur de programme et notoriété de la formation
We had several feedback sessions where they collected some feedback and then did nothing with it to improve our courses. One of the things that couldnt be managed over 2 years is the feedback for the courses: most of the time you don't see your grades for the period until the middle of the next period. And even with the grades you don't know any detalization. Basically I don't even know if the code I've written over last 2 years was correct or not.

Êtes-vous globalement satisfait de votre formation ?
Going to masters wasn't my most preferred option but I liked this specific program because of the curriculum content. It was not worth neither the money nor effort

Some programs at Institute Polytechnique de Paris or MVA are alternatives for fraction of the cost.
