A DISAPPOINTING PROGRAM AND A WASTE OF RESOURCES

After seeing the overall deficiencies of this program, the only advantage I can see is that it only lasts 8 months, so I don’t waste more time. Beyond that, I see no value in studying the IMBA at Audencia.

Level, structure, teaching methodology, cohort diversity, planning… pretty much everything.

  • Commentaires généraux

A deeply disappointing program, with deficiencies across all areas. Most people in the group feel the same way but won’t speak up.

    Contenu académique du programme

No, I’m truly disappointed. The level of the program is too low, with content that I already studied during my bachelor's degree. I expected to work with the case study method to strengthen critical thinking and to learn from my peers in a dynamic, discussion-based environment, which mostly never happened (just like 2 or 3 times).

    Moyens pédagogiques (bibliothèque, WIFI, locaux)

Basic resources were available, but nothing more. On the other hand, the school’s facilities left much to be desired.

  • 210

    Qualité des professeurs permanents

Most teachers were knowledgeable in their subjects, but the teaching methods were poor. There were many classes where we didn’t learn anything or develop any specific skill. It’s quite unfortunate that the quality of instruction was so low in most cases.

  • 310

    Qualité des intervenants professionnels extérieurs

There were practically no external speakers, this is a serious shortcoming of the school. Only a couple of companies were invited, and there was no clear connection to potential job opportunities or high-level presentations, especially for international students (in English, most of the talks in the auditorium were in French and not geared towards MBA students).

  • 310

    Reconnaissance internationale du programme

One of the reasons I chose this program was its ranking. Unfortunately, it has dropped 2 times this year, and with the current quality, I wouldn’t be surprised if it falls out of the top 100 next year.

    Accompagnement/aide si départ à l'étranger

Communication was poor before the programs started, but once international mobility began, support from Student Life was ok. Couldn't say the same about the coordination of the program; Odile was not helpful at all, and when she left, we were not clear about the support.

  • 210

Services aux étudiants (orientation, projet pro., scolarité, etc.)

Very limited, barely met the minimum.

  • 310

The program did not promote involvement in associations or group activities. It lacked efforts to encourage the integration of international MBI students outside the classroom or with local students. This is something other business schools do, and Audencia should adopt.

  • 510

Ville étudiante, logement (coût, accès, situation)

    Nantes is ok.

  • 310

    Réseau des anciens, contacts professionnels

No. The group was extremely homogeneous, mostly from Asia. The school could have organized joint events with other programs to provide students with better networking opportunities. There were even events we weren’t invited to, which is unfortunate.

  • 110

No, the truth is the management was highly deficient. We didn’t have a program coordinator for most of the time. Key activities such as the consulting mission and the exchange program overlapped, causing serious scheduling issues. Even when we raised concerns about the poor teaching quality of several professors, the program director argued it was our obligation to confront the professors directly, a completely inappropriate and unprofessional stance. Overall, the administration seemed more concerned with punctuality and having a full classroom, even if students weren’t engaged or participating at all.

  • 2.110

Stages et aide à l'insertion professionnelle

No. The career center was not very helpful when it came to job searching. It would help if the school organized events specifically for MBA students, featuring companies interested in our profiles to improve job placement.

Not at all. This program has been a major disappointment for me and most of my classmates. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone; the classes, organization, and external experience offered by the school fall far below expectations.
