Quel est, selon vous, le principal atout de ce programme ?
The main 2 assets of this programme: - It is taking on a new field that is booming right now and of high demand, and are tackling the most recent subjects in a very agile and mature manner. - It is highly recognized worldwide which has helped a lot of the students land amazing internship opportunities with great companies.

Quelle est, selon vous, la principale faiblesse de ce programme ?
The program is not tackling Data Science but it is more covering Data Analytics topics. Although this is what I am looking to learn, I believe the naming should be adjusted to exactly reflect the skillsets the students are going to learn in this program.

If you would to ask me if I would recommend this programme, I would answer YES in a heartbeat as it has met my expectations and has helped me gain new skillsets in a short period of time and land an internship that I am very satisfied with.

Contenu académique du programme
The program offers exactly the mix that I wanted to be exposed to and it answered my needs. I ended up landing an internship as a Data Analyst (starting July 2023) which is the career I was aiming to move to even before starting the program.

Qualité des professeurs permanents
I would not say that all staff met 100% all my expectations, but I believe this is also a subjective question. From the discussions we had with my colleagues, not all of us had the same evaluations for all instructors. However, the most important positive point is that instructors hear students out, they want to meet our expectations and similar to staff, rapidly amend the deliverables if need be. This is not an easy thing to have and I respected the school and teacher for this way of conducting the program.

We were exposed to professionals working in top companies (Google, MAZARS, AMAZON, etc) and they brought in such a great perspective into the course.

Overall, the program was great as it was not a 'full-day' kind of program, which enabled us to learn and study when needed, go out when we wished to, and do projects when required. However, we faced one semester that was relatively very heavy on us as we had a HUGE load of work and given that we also needed to apply for internship at the same period, it felt a bit overwhelming to most students.

This is one of the key success areas of this programme. People knows about emlyon and also are well aware of our program and are seeking to hire students. Local and international big companies, startups, SMEs are all interested in our profiles and this has been a great advantage for us.

I loved Paris! If I would to reconsider again, I'll choose it again with no reconsideration. Amazing city with tons of opportunities. Yet, I would not lie, it's a bit overpriced and I had not expected it to be this much. Inflation highly impacted the prices this year and it seems it's not slowing down. I highly appreciated the student support in the city (CAF, izly food) which has actually helped a lot in this situation.

This is maybe one of most important points that I highlight appreciated in my programme. In the market, emlyon has a high reputation, and this has opened lots of doors for most of my colleagues. emlyon alumni are also supportive of our programme and are doing their best to support their fellow colleagues in landing good opportunities. A huge appreciation for the staff for building such a solid programme reputation and for the alumni for supporting their peers.

I am. The program manager is one of the most active and knowledgeable people in our programme. We had 2 programme managers this year as one needed to take parental leave, but I have to say that both have done amazing work and they delivered their best. I have a high respect for these two people and I thank them for the big effort and dedication they put to making this programme a success.

The resources are up to the bar, but maybe not exceptional as per se. emlyon is part of Jobteaser, the platform used by companies to post their vacancies, and emlyon had already established numerous partnerships with companies, but it was not a highly efficient process as I would have expected it to be. The trainers that emlyon brought us to support us in preparing for job interviews are highly qualified and give relevant advice to the current market needs / trends.

I am very satisfied with the programme overall. I did not put highly satisfied as the programme can be improved, but the faculty listens to students' comments and works hard to amend things in a very quick manner to address concerns and answer the needs and inquiries of all students.

Referiez-vous le même choix de formation aujourd’hui ?
I would! I very much liked the combination of both business (marketing) and data analytics in this course and would not shift to another program. I specifically applied for this school and this program from the first round of applications as I was sure this is what I wanted. 10 months later, I'm overall satisfied and the course met the expectations that I had when it comes to learning outcomes and internship positions.
